Logan Dickson, a Blue Ridge Farm Trainer, has been riding and competing under the tutelage of Jeffrey Taylor since 2006 at the age of seven. At a young age, Logan developed a love and passion for horses. She received her first pony by the age of eight. Within a few years, she upgraded to a 3-year-old off-the-track thoroughbred (OTTB) which she successfully competed through the eventing levels. Early on, Logan was provided opportunities that allowed her to cultivate training skills most young riders are not afforded. Working alongside Jeffrey Taylor, Logan is refining her skills by training young OTTBs for sale and competition purposes. She also assists Holly Taylor in the training & development of many privately owned horses at Blue Ridge Farm.
Logan has competed through the preliminary level and is preparing for the CCI-2*L, in October 2024. She plans to move up to intermediate in 2025.
In addition to working at BRF, Logan is a Full-Time Registered Nurse at Tausigg Cancer Center Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. Logan loves to teach and would like to mentor new girls and boys in the equestrian sport; she continues to teach occasionally when time allows.
